Cloze Exercise
The Monarch butterfly is a very interesting creature. Its colours are amazing with black and orange and it ability to eat milkweed is unbelievable. These are just some of the many things of the Monarch butterfly.
When it migrates it can cover 128 km and it can reach up to speeds of 18 km an hour. These insects migrate to warmer places over the winter because it is more comfortable. When flying it travels 5 - 6 metres above the Earth’s ground. This is about the height of 2 and a half Mr Mcs. Although it can’t go above the ground when it is a caterpillar, it truly is a magnificent sight.

Some Information on Kites
About kites:
Flying a kite is a easy but hard thing to do, because you need to be in time with the wind and try not to be where there are lots of trees, otherwise they might get your kite caught in there. Lots of people have kites. They have them both because they had kids and the kids wanted one, or because they just wanted to have some fun.
Things you need to make a Kite:
3-4 peaces of cut up crape paper
1 diamond shaped peace of cardboard
1 really long peace of string
1 peace wood to wrap the sting onto
If you wanted to…
You could get some pencils and draw some pictures. You could get some other paper and cut out some shapes then glue them on.

The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower took two years to build. It is 324 metres tall (1,063 feet.) If you were to put the Eiffel Tower on a giant scale it would weigh 7,300 tons. It has had over 206,719,200 visitors between the time of its construction (1889) and 2006. The amount of stairs of the Eiffel Tower is 328 steps to the first level, 340 steps to the second level and 18 steps to the lift.
When you get out of the lift at the third level there are 15 more steps to the top platform. The total amount of steps is 701!While it was being built, people were starting to get scared of it falling over because of its awkward shape.
The Eiffel tower was the tallest tower in the world until the Chrysler Building was completed.
It is an observation and radio broadcasting tower.
