Expanding Toothpicks

Prediction:
I predict that it will turn into a perfectly shaped star.

You Will Need:
5 Toothpicks
1 Eyedropper
1 Small plate

Water Time Required:
5 minutes

What to Do:
Snap all 5 toothpicks so that they are bent, but not completely in two parts they need to still be connected. Arrange the bent toothpicks as in the picture, without letting the ends touch. Using the eyedropper add 5 drops of water to the centre of the toothpicks. Make sure the drops of water touch the bent corners of all toothpicks. Watch the toothpicks. If necessary add a couple more drops of water.

What Happened:
We put the bent toothpicks on a small plate and then Slinky put 5 drops of water on the plate. We waited for about 20 seconds and it turned into a star.
